1. What This Notice Covers

This notice explains how RootTeck uses cookies and similar browser storage on our website and client portal, and complements our Privacy Policy.

2. We Don't Use Tracking or Advertising Cookies

RootTeck does not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. We don't run scripts from ad networks or social media trackers on our site. If this changes in the future, we'll update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.

3. Strictly Necessary Storage We Do Use

To keep the Services working, we rely on a small amount of strictly necessary browser storage that doesn't require consent under most cookie laws, since the Services can't function without it:

Unlike a traditional session cookie, this token is not automatically sent with every request to every website you visit — it's only read by RootTeck's own client application and attached to requests you make to our API.

4. Cookies Set by Our Infrastructure Providers

Our hosting, security, and payment infrastructure providers (for example, payment processors during checkout) may set their own strictly necessary cookies to prevent fraud and keep their services secure. These are governed by those providers' own privacy and cookie notices, which are linked at the point you interact with them (such as during payment).

5. Managing Browser Storage

You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser's settings; doing so will simply sign you out of the client portal and require you to log in again. Because we don't use tracking cookies, there's no advertising preference or opt-out to manage.

6. Changes to This Notice

If we introduce analytics or other non-essential storage in the future, we'll update this notice with details of what's used and, where legally required, provide a way to opt in or out before it's active.
